tealitup
I guess a it takes a dog to show gun safety. Place the gun on safe at all times - it only takes one dog
schr0563
Don't assume he didn't have the safety on. My shotgun has the safety right next to the trigger. It would be easy for a dog to step on both at the same time. The real warning here is to control the direction your gun is pointing at all times. SledNeck
Good thing that dog wasnt in Minnesota, they'd convict him of attempted murder.

harvey lee
I would agree that one should unloaded his gun and not just lay it on the ground loaded. he could have tripped himself and fired the gun. These type accidents can all be avoided if one would follow all the safety rules taught when younger or have just used a little more commen sense.
