I'm not able to work. Even on days when it's just drizzling, it's still too wet to do anything.

If you've got in-laws in other states where they're dry, send buckets this way, I'll be more than happy to pay for shipping.

not being able to work.........hmmmmmmmmmm what to do.......... i've got a house that needs cleaning, 2 garages and a shop that need to be prepared for winter, a boat that needs to be winterized (you can do it in the shop!!!) if you get too bored!!!..... oh dump, I've been on fishingmn too long, now IM LATE for work!!!! guess all that stuff will have to wait, unless lwn wants to come and chip in??? what do you say???

LOL. They said on the news this morning that if the the precipitation from August through now fell in the winter, we'd have 15-18 feet of snow!!!

I've seen the sun 4 times in the last 4 weeks. Meanwhile I have a shed roof opened up that'll become a deck to my new second story walk out. Drought Smought.

It's been raining forever down here, but we need it badly. I'm sure the farmers arn't digging it, but the water in the Des Moines and Lime Creek is finally flowing again.

Duck hunting hasn't been so bad lately, either.

Seems to me that in July, people were complaining about a lack of rain. I guess we are never safisfied!!

The last heavy rain in Superior flooded all the steam pits at the college. It's hard to make steam when the pipes are under water. Can't wait for round two...

Imagine trying to get to 40 / week, 1-2 acres + each...

Landscpaing guys aren't having too much fun either.

I can't even begin to imagine what it's like for the farmers...

Let's see...went out for supper in the middle of October for the first time in 19 years. The guys are getting restless! Pretty much everyone has been idle since Sunday afternoon when it started raining. Still plenty of puddles around. The sunshine and the heat helped some today, but they are talking more showers for tomorrow. sigh...

Yeah FISHINCHICKS- here in south central MN the bar owners are sure making good money- all the farmers are there drowning there sorrows. Been dry all year until harvest, poor guys.

We got 49 days of field work with good weather, it doesn't look like we will be done for thanksgiving dinner.
