Sam, you lucky devil to have such an understanding wife. Those are some very nice shots. Now you just need to talker her into letting you buy a 400mm lens. That moose would have been awesome, if you would have been twice as close or had double the fire power. Although, it's still good as an environmental portrait. Either way, they're all good.

Beautiful shots here Samtroy. I really enjoyed them. And as X-tac said, you can't tell us this is the first time you have picked up a camera. The look of these kinda tells me/us you might know what you are doing.

thanks for looking guys. And yes this some of my first pictures with a real camera (all i have used before are just point and shoots) and yes i would like a 400mm lens but still work on that with the wife
