Portable Stands for Fat Guys

Any know of someone making some that are rated for more then 300 pounds besides ladder two man stands.

I have the same issue I have the body of a god I just can't help it it's budda. We'll I hate the platform stands because you feel like your going to fall out and when you have almost 100 lbs on the weight capacity you start wondering if gravity is finally going to get the best of you. I got for my birthday a 2 person Big Game Sidekick. It's one continous bench really just bare but it does the work. I wouldn't get a single person because You can move aorund in the stand decently and also the spare room next to me I put my gun leaning on the shooting rest. Kicker is when we bought my dad his for christmas we got them on clearance for 75 bucks Hard to beat a 16' stand for 2 people for that much. Wish we would have gotten a few more but hopefully this year.

The Goliath from summit is rated for 350 lbs and I suspect it could take more. I have a Goliath and a Viper and they are both very SOLID.

I have a Viper from Summit and am happy with it. I am not over 300, but still a big dude, and not a big fan of heights. I feel safe in that stand, and suspect the goliath would be even better since it is supposed to be rated for 350.

ACtually the base that you stand on is the same on the Viper and the Goliath, The only difference is that the top section of the goliath is a touch wider. I suspect the Viper would be good for the same weight rating on the platform...

Well thanks I was hoping to find something with a bit more room to work with but it sounds like this summit will be the stand i will have.

I'm a big guy, 6'3" 250(on a good day )I own the Summit Viper, it's nice during warmer weather, but when i'm bundled up in the cold, NO GOOD! it's a pretty tight squeeze. MMoose, you should try one out before you buy it, and picture yourself on that cold-a$$ November morning.

Thats why I would go up to the Goliath. I hunt out of it even in december when I am wearing 4 layers + my iceking boots, and still have adequate room. (and I am roughly the same size you mentioned)

Well I am 6'5 and a bit over 3 bills and being bundled up makes it a tight fit which is not good.

I am 6'3 and 290lbs. I have the Lone Wolf Hand Climber. I just bought it this summer and have used it many times this bow season and feel very comfy in it. All bundled up I could not tell ya.
