lawdog
Just so everyone is clear, AMP is the Mountain Dew brand's version of an energy drink, in fact the MD logo is on the AMP cans. It appears that the car will be decaled as an AMP car primarily with Mountain Dew on there as part of it being AMP.Also the National Guard and Chevy additional major sponsors of the 88 ride for next year... lawdog
I've said a million times I've always liked Jr. and I even liked his dad too. It is the redneck fans and their hatred and jealousy of the real deal #24 and their foolish assertion of Jr. being the second coming that I can't stand. Most won't admit how much better Gordon is than Jr despite the 4 cups (soon to be five) and 60+ more wins etc... Also, I just read that about Ralph this week when they were doing the announcement so I can't claim any great knowledge of that. Oh and for those who don't know (which is probably most here), my family has been in the Pepsi business since the 1950's and my brother is at the bottler's meeting where Junebug showed up yesterday for the announcement. Not only will I continue to have good access to Gordon stuff going forward, I'll now get some 88 stuff too!!! Glad ol Junebug finally figured out that if you can't beat em...JOIN EM!!!! harvey lee
I know where you are coming from Jeff. Gordon is very good and Jr does have a ways to go before he will come even close to what Gordon had accomplished in his career.I do believe that Jr will be better in the Hendrick equipment and also believe that he will be a good fit with the other drivers. OUTDOORNUT
Sad to see you join the Jr Nation, Dawg! Don't get all hopped up on Dew now! I wasn't too impressed with the new paint schemes, pretty weak. I guess with all the build up to this I was anticipating a better product.
lawdog
Nut, Jr. joined the Hendrick Nation!!!!
LMITOUT
Considering the size of both, I'd say the Hendrick Muni was absorbed by the Red Nation. They still use seperate currencys though and the exchange rate is poor.
