smallieobsession
Looks like the "Gas stains on driveway" problem was solved straightaway....so here's one for all, the undercoating on my truck wore off in a sport up front and before I had it fixed, when the area w/o the undercoating would be wet - either from rain or the AC unit, it would drip onto my driveway and eneded up leaving these streaks of rust stain on my drive. I haven't tried anything yet so I'm totaly open to ideas. I'd say some of the streaks are 4-5 feet long so it isn't just a couple of little spots. Ideas????thanks

fishin magician
I would recommend any products from a company called Prosoco. Do a google search and then find a local retailer. I used a product called Burnished Custom Masonry Cleaner to remove rust from brick and it worked great.
Shack
I had good luck with bleach, wire brush and direct sun light. Make sure you clean off bleach in a reasonable amout of time, or it will leave a bigger stain.
bucketmouth64
Just had a salesman stop by last night with a biodegradeable cleaning product called Advantage the wonder cleaner. Apparently, it is sold on those tv infomercials. So safe the guy licked the inside of the spray bottle because it contains no harmful solvents to the body. It is a concentrate that you dilute. He sprayed and took out my oil and rust stains off the concrete in garage. Whole bunch of my neighbors bought some too. Three bottles for about $100 with spray bottles, scrubbers, scrub brush. I had a guy like this visit last year. I'm not sure it was the same stuff (It was an Orange liquid). He did the oil stain thing on my garage and it worked. But not at the diluted recommendatins they specified. If you take a look at the bottle they are using it's more like a half and half mixture. Instead of the cap full to one bottle of water. When I had him mix up a bottle of the suggested recommendation then the product didn't work on the oil stains. So then it wasn't a very good bargain like they make it out to be. IFallsRon
Navel Jelly works for removing rust. I had a guy selling the same stuff on Tuesday. $35 for a quart bottle. Last time I bought something from a stranger, I got four years of the wrong magazine.

He mixed it up in front of me and showed me that it works. I just wasnt willing to give some random guy that stopped by any money, the schwanns man is different. Shack
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Be ware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sales people, who come to provide a good service inside house or garage, could be people scooping out your house. Between Cambridge and St. Cloud in the last year, this has been a growing issue/concern. They try to sell you something that you won’t ever buy (no traceable evidence) and then try to get into your house or garage to perform a free service. Mean while they are checking out what is in you house or garage. They had a security system scam going on in a couple neighborhoods down the road from me. The guy would stop buy in a no licensed car (new local dealer plastic name plates and temp. tag in rear window), proceed to ask if you have a security system installed, provided no license or valid ID, he was out of state and a couple of houses got knocked off with in a month or two of this occurring. The other scam (I witness and reported this occurring to my neighbor) is a car rolls threw a neighborhood and looks for open garage doors. Circles back around and take picture of open garage door area. Then they go back to wear ever they stay and scoop out what’s in your garage at a latter time. When they see something they like, they mark your picture and time garage door was open and with a little more surveillance, figure out what time you get home or leave home. All of a sudden, one day you come home and you are robbed.Sorry for the rant, but with as many people reporting of this guy with the miracle stuff. I figured I would chime in.Good luck!!!! Meat-Run
shackback, your right on the money. I had young college kid with a southern Texes draw was trying to sell educational books for young kids etc. and was working with Crow Wing Co. He was name dropping my neighbors and stated they were interested to but will make a decision "later". At the same time I think he was casing my garage or house. He never gave any identification or business card the 5 times he kept coming back. I finally got down to business with this gentleman and put a clinic on his a.s.s. (no harm to him though) and explained this isn't how you "sell" prodcut by being annoying and misleading us with educational speech in fact you were casing my joint. I had to break it to him that I am a salesman in my job/career and know that basics of selling and participating in a business discussion and he was way off base. Unfortunetly people like this are VERY dangerous and make true salesmen/women look bad or give us a black eye. First thing to consider if anybody knocks on your door selling you anything ask or see identification starting with business card AND drivers license. Make immediate reference to vehicle model and license number and for some reason you don't feel comfortable send them walking. If for some reason they are to pushy and don't respect your wish to not speak with them and become a little disgruntle, report them to your police of a suspicios person in your neighborhood because more likely your not the only one that's seen this person. mr
