Loudon thoughts

Is this the worst race of the year? I really don't find that this race shows much racing, maybe it will be different with the COT.

Anyways, I'll have to miss it, heading up to the big pond in a few hours for the weekend.

Loudon, like any other track, is best enjoyed with a cold beer and a Kenseth victory.

Nah, Sonoma, Watkins Glen are worse....California too, but Loudon isn't too far above them.

The two Pocono races followed by the two California races are the worst. BORING...

I don't mind this little track too much.

Good call on Pocono. Both Pocono and Cali need only one race a piece IMO.

Get the 500 back again in Darlington! That's a racetrack.

Amen. The Mountain Dew Southern 500 was one of the classic BIG races on the NASCAR schedule And that second race from Pocono should go to ROCKINGHAM, another GREAT track with tons of side by side action that we've lost due to Baby France's money grab...

I really dont care where we go racing as long as they are racing. I love the short tracks with all the action and yes, there are some really BORING tracks like the plate tracks and any tracks that dont allow for good racing.

You can dump one of the Michigan races, too. Equally boring. 10/4 on the Rock. It's a shame they don't race there anymore

Those were fun, hard-nosed races, bumpin' and bangin', rubber all over the track. Problem with the Rock was that only about 2/3 of the stands were filled and the bottom rows of seats were empty. This was easily seen on television and NASCAR did not want its viewers to see that.
