go to muskie bait

Are you just starting out in Musky Fishing? Do you have any other tackle? If you are just starting out, look at a Suick as mentioned, perhaps a TopRaider and a bucktail. Pretty much will cover all your bases.

10" Beleiver. Jointed or regular. Can be used as a deep running crank or on the shallow setting can run right below the surface or even on top. I have got a lot of fish up on them in the last 2 weeks, although no takers.

All good starters. I'd recommend a topraider also. You will still have enough for a bucktail, which I like the inhaler's. Both these types of lures cover water faster.

Rinc,

I would go spinnerbait. Bucktail would be a close second. You should be able to get a good one of each for around $30. Then again....I caught a muskie on a Viper last night when the spinner and buck didn't produce......aaahhhhhhh sometimes you gotta love having the variety!
