outdoor ran
Quote: I've never had a problem with Jr. and I believe I've said so many times. My only problem has been his rabid fans and how they are such Gordon haters. This move made my year because it brought a driver I like to my favorite team, got rid of the shrub, AND drove all the beer can throwing rednecks nuts! This couldn't really have gone any better! You bet I'll cheer for Junior (to run second behind Jeff)! Lawdog, I feel the same way.
OUTDOORNUT
Hey Dawg, Does Jr. move up to your third on your list of favorite drives now? With Gordon and his unborn child being number 1 and 2!

I'd say my feelings fall right in here as well. Now with Jr. going to a real championship caliber team next year the question needs to be asked....Is the Jr. army really ready to find out if he's as good as Jeff and Jimmy or just going to be another shrub and pick off a win or two here and there? harvey lee
I would say that it will take more than one year for the team to gell and then we will see. It took Gordon some time also.
Sifty
I would say atleast one year.It did'nt sound like the rest of the team was coming from DEI.Sifty
NAPAFISH
Rick Steinbrenner will have to build a new roof, with all the egos involved now.Just imagine Gordons radio now he will have to complain about 2 teammates not getting out of the way for him. snowman678
On the other hand, what if he does well; what will all the Jr sucks & is the most overrated driver "haters" have to say? I don't think he'll do as well as Jeff, not many will, or have; but I think he'll be better than Kyle has been; I guess time will tell.

JohnMickish
I think the "haters" are going to be able to accept success better than the "lovers" are going to be able to accept failure. All (Jr., Jimmy and Jeff) being under one team is going to prove one thing over the next few years, either Jr. is indeed the real deal and deseving of all the accolades he recieves, or just overrated. Time will tell but this will definitly end the speculation.

Remember Kyle is still cutting teeth, and running ahead of JR. And before you blame DEI equipment, notice Truex is ahead of both Shrub and JR.If JR starts winning and actually earning all the acolades that have being given him, I'd be the first to congratulate him. However, "this is where the rubber meets the road" and if JR can't win he will be exposed for what I believe he is. The 5th to 15th best driver right now, and 5th is a stretch. LMITOUT
Quote:And before you blame DEI equipment, notice Truex is ahead of both Shrub and JR. .....due to a 100pt penalty, otherwise Jr would be ahead of both of them.
