Turnig follows into bites?

I was fishing for skis on a lake last tuesday in the evening from about 4pm to 9pm and had 7 follows and not a single bite. Any one have any advice on what one could do to get a bite?

I've had luck switching colors, but I also alway's have another rod set up w/a soft plastic to throw in after a follow. Also try slowing your retreive speed down just a hair. Just my 2 cent's worth. Good luck!

Try speeding up the lure before it reaches boatside, as to trigger a reaction strike. If using a straight retrieve you can also impart some erratic motion into the lure to make the lure appear as if it is trying to evade the musky.

I agree with eatsleepfish another thing i do is go deep on your figure 8 as your doing the eight throe quick erratic ss in there good trigger

When I get lots of follows and no takers I switch to smaller lures and burn them back to try and get a reaction strike. Either they take it or they dont, you dont get those lazy follows.

Do a figure 8 in the water, all you have to do is make an 8
