harvey lee
Boy, for the third time this year, neither one of these guys want to give an inch. Looks like the Busch clown may have recieved the worst of it. Tony also had a little damage. Go figure, I had another driver picked and changed to Kurt. I was worried about his bullheaded driving but still left him there as I thought maybe his better senses would take over. Both the Busch's are hard heads and never give in and they usually get what is due to them.
Coach Dog
Race blog:From CBS Sportsline.com: "Kurt Busch was told by NASCAR to park the car for the day for aggressive driving. That is going to cost Kurt some race points. Kurt nearly ran over one of Stewart's pit crew members while Tony was in his stall after the incident on the track. The individual had to jump onto the hood to avoid being hit by Kurt Busch. That's just no way to drive a race, nerves or no nerves, frustration or no frustration. NASCAR did the right thing on this instance."
harvey lee
This just isnt a suprise as these Busch dudes are hot heads. They need to really nail him as he will hurt someone shortly.
lawdog
Kurt was very wrong to do what he did on pit road, but at least he has grown up enough to admit he was very wrong to do that in his interview. As for Stewart, how long will this jerk just keep wrecking people on the track? I Busch had him passed pretty cleanly and Stewart just punted him, and what's worse if you watch when Busch is spinning in front of him, it looked to me like he made NO effort to miss him or even slow down, he just drove through him. What a couple of knot heads!
LMITOUT
Looked to me that Busch moved (intentionally or not) into Stewart coming out of the corner. Stewart was holding his line when bonehead came over into his.But it did look like Stewart finished him off while he was spinning, which I thought was funny. harvey lee
He may admit it Jeff, but he doesnt learn from it. NASCAR no doubt will teach him this Tuesday in the penalty department.
Papa Grump
Watched the replays on ESPN and it looks just like a racing deal. I'll bet Kurt's spotter said clear and he moved up into Tony. Tony did nothing wrong in my book, but he did do a good job of finishing the deal Oh well, Dumbo ears never was a smart driver to begin with
harvey lee
Dumbo ears, Brian. That gave me a good chuckle. The really bad move was what he did later.
lawdog
Quote:The really bad move was what he did later. Exactly and that's what NASCAR will clamp down on. I do think though that Kurt Busch has been much better the last couple years than when he first started and Jimmy Spencer had to punch him in the face (although I still don't like the guy). But my question remains, how long will they let Stewart keep running into and over whoever he wants out there? He's been doing it for years now. He won't move for anybody but everybody should just get out of his way or get punted. What a jerk!
harvey lee
From my point of view, I really believe that Stewart had the pass going well on the high side and Busch came up into him. Maybe I missed something.Tony can also be stubborn but I really dont think that this was Tony's fault.
Sifty
From what I saw it looked as if Busch thought he was clear and moved up.I don't get the 20. Like Jeff said it did'nt look like the 20 slowed down or ever tried to miss him.Sifty
harvey lee
Probably a racing deal with two guys that wont give an inch.
TNFL
From my view, the 20 was in 5th and was dropping back fast. Mr. GIVEnTAKE could have practiced what he preaches a little more. He really showed his intention when he drove right through the spinning car though.KB jack A move on pit road. nuff said.

yaggie
My memory must be short. I can't seem to remember the last time Tony gave an inch of space to someone. As for Busch I would like to see him suspended for a race. What he did is serious enough for possible criminal charges.
TNFL
Well, he didn't actually drive forward enough to hit the guy.... but I bet that crew man needed a clean change of underpants!
lawdog
I don't really see how you guys can say Stewart was passing on the outside since Busch went into the corner behind him and came out ahead of him?????? You lost me on that one...
LMITOUT
Watch it again. Busch entered the corner ahead of Stewart but Stewart pulled almost even with him through the corner on the outside. By the time they got out of the corner Busch was ahead of Tony but not clear. Tony was on the outside and almost against the wall and Busch kept coming up the track until his right rear hit Tony's left front. Pretty obvious if you watch it that he rode Tony right up to the wall. Tony didn't come down on Busch and he didn't back off the throttle either....and Busch wasn't clear to pull in front of him. PERCHJR
Here again LAWDOG was watching a different race than we ALL were, I wonder what channel he is getting you would think he would have that checked out!!! Stewart did nothing wrong if you would watch the replay he was at least 3ft up on BONEHEADS side when he come up on him, before you blame somebody else please get your facts straight!!! harvey lee
I think the real problem with this issue is that neither like each other and neither will give an inch.
HOF#13
I watched the reply a few times and I personally thought that Busch tried to pull in front of Stewart before he was clear. At any rate, I agree with Harvey Lee. Those two boys do not like each other, and at no time give each other an inch. What Busch did in the pits was totally unacceptable and deserved to be parked. The only bad thing was I had him on my fantasy team for the week. I'm going to take a stand on his behavior....I am suspending #2 Kurt Busch for the next 4 races from my fantasy team. That'll show him!
harvey lee
That will probably help your score out. Everytime I pick a Busch, I have to try and think, who will show up in the car this week? A nut or a good driver?

harvey lee
I always try to steer clear after angry altercations.....may be some retaliation coming. Those two will be at it all year until NASCAR comes down on them. Someone will get hurt if they keep allowing it.
