Please send pics.

How does it handle? I had a friend that owned the same boat with a 115hp Yamaha and he said that his got squirrely on the top end.

What was your top end speed with the 150hp?

Do you like the suzuki motor?

Thanks.

I will send you pics in 1 hour when I get to work. perhaps your friend had the 17 foot Explorer? This one is 18 and I can get 55-62mph (depending on if you believe the dash gage or the depth finder, I have never checked with a GPS)

I can run across (Contact Us Please) at top speed and it is smooth as silk. The only thing that might get squirrley is your hat if you don't turn it around! the Suzuki has a very long shaft, perhaps the prop sits a little lower. I fish in my friends 19 foot Pro-V all the time and you really can't tell much difference.

The Suzuki has ran perfect for me. It has very low hours and looks, runs, starts like new. Everybody who asks about the boat is a little suspect of the motor, probably because you don't see them all that often, but is runs like a champ and will guaruntee it checks out perfectly if you want to take it a marine shop or even just check compression.

Krats, I have the exact same boat/motor that is for sale here. Very nice ride! I mainly fish milacs (in fact im leaving in a few min) and it works great on big water and waves. My motor runs great also and is pretty fast. I have been going mid 50's (gps) with 4 guys and gear. At this price this is a deal blush.gif

Great boat, I have the same combo with a T - 8 Yamaha added. I have a stainless prop and at 5500 RPM's have never gotten over 48 MPH trimmed to the max and if it's loaded down like you say it will run 43-44. According to Suzuki tech they should run between 5200 - 5600 RPM. That is definetly a steal at that price.

Pics sent.

Boat is still for sale. The boat market is a little slow so don't let the price fool you. This boat is in great shape, in great woriking order, has all the accessories you need to fish on the way home and the rod lockers and storage hatches still smell like new when you open them up!
