Deitz,

Here is one you would love and would probably be an off the cuff podcast for you. Deep water bass tactics! What to throw and when? Do I want to use a big crank or should I be tossing a large t-rig worm? Or maybe a dropshot or carolina rig? I haven't had much success with deep bass and it is something I would love to learn more about. It seems as the summer wears on, the bigger bass move deep and all I get in the shallows is little ones. Go to town and have some fun cause you are the authority on the subject.

ask and ye shall recieve.. LOL...

Another dig into the mail bag of FishingMinnesota.com Todays question was about deepwater bassing during the dog days of summer. I gave good friend of mine Matt Johnson a call and we chatted on the subject.

I want to hear about Pheasant hunting, up north we don't have Pheasants just forest chickens. I always wonder how these guys line up these bird hunts and cordinate dogs, locations etc etc. Some pointers for a guy like me that has never shot a pheasant.

DIY (Contact Us Please) tips on field dressing, carting out, and butchering deer. Obviously tough to describe over the phone but maybe there is a tip or two out there. I know there are some guys that have butchered a lot of deer and I would like to start doing it myself.

Dietz,

I am wondering if guys would like to hear about GPS's and how to use them and use them more effectively for todays fishing and hunting trips. I know a lot of guys have any of the lowrance series GPS's. I know the basics on how to use mine, but I and maybe others confused.gif are missing out on the many options that one can give us!??

I like that idea BRK. I am looking to get one soon and would love to hear some tips on how to use them. A couple of my uncles have them and I can borrow one just about any time, but other than turning it on and checking location versus the map coordinates to locate myself, I am pretty much clueless.

Good Topic.

how about putting together a pamphlet of public access ediquette and then selling it to the dnr and making it mandatory test for each person who has a boat. All kidding aside would love to see someone come out with just some tips and tricks at the landing to make those weekend days go a little smoother. We all have at least 1 nightmare story. ike
