Does anyone else have this issue

I'd thought I'd post this here as it's Sifty's home

Whenever I view a thread that Sifty posts on, while I'm scrolling it locks up for a few seconds loading his avatar. Even when I scroll over it and come back down the same thing happens again, like a long lag. Does this happen you anyone else?

I wonder if it's some sort of bug with Firefox?

Sorry very off topic, but something that irks me. Not picking on you Sifty, just would like to know why it only happens with your avatar.

Darren, I have never noticed a problem and tried three different threads with his post and didnt run into a delay at all.

Sorry, no problems here and I'm using Firefox also.

Everyone else's avatar seems to pop right up with the post, but his avatar loads really slow. Almost like loading an image on dial up, if anyone can remember what dial up is. It doesn't really create any problems for me, but it does load slower.

I have the same thing as metrojoe, it works just fine, but loads slow. Must be a huge file...

Nope, no problems here.

Looking at it, it is about 500k, most avitar photos are < 50k. So, yes it's big. Works fine on cable.
