Hey guys, with all this stuff going on with JR leaving DEI, what are your guess'?

HERE IS MY GUESS. Maybe not this year, but next for sure>> Jr will drive for either Childress or Hendrick, and his car will be the black number 3 and sponsor being either budweiser or Goodwrench.

I think he'll be driving for RCR. I don't see Bud leaving the hood, maybe a co-sponsorship, where Goodwrench comes on during things like Sr.'s birthday, maybe Daytona, etc.

I think he'll be in the Bud car for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Like I said I'd love to see Jr in the black #3, could you imagine him winning a race with the fans he has? I'm not taking a shot at them by any means, but there would be people fainting in the grandstands, screams of miracles, choruses of Hallelujah and admissions of the second coming of JC. It would be just something else.

However, I'm picking the Gibbs

On the flip side can you imagine if he didn't win a race in the black #3?

I see the RCR Chevy in the future. #37, car number 3 plus 7 championships. He either goes there or totally surprizes all of us by changing brands.

This one is a tough call.

With the 4 car ownership rule, this only leaves really 2 top choices for chevrolet, Gibbs and RCR. I would love to see either choice, but I see some power problems. To come to another team and ask for basically the world of gurantees to which he is going to demand and probably deserve, are you going to send the wrong message to already existing team?

I know he will bring mucha dollars with him which will help all, but how is the old saying "that is one to many roosters in the hen house."

Like Hendricks, yes many good to great teams, but they all grew from new racers in Cup to where they are now, I do like Jr. and I think he will succeed wherever he goes.

I am still thinking he will end up at RCR and not drive the 3 right away, but eventually.

I'll go with the majority and say RCR. No #3 on the car right away though....maybe down the line for special events, etc.

Here's the other twist...Jr. buys back DEI for pennies on the dollar after it collapses due to Teresa putting the final nail in the coffin in about five years. Jr. goes back to DEI to operate the company like it should be run during the twilight of his career.

Just kidding fellas! Interesting theories and thoughts here. Can't wait to see where he goes. RCR or Gibbs would be my two guesses....pretty logical guesses though.

Jr. may see a cup on his shelf in the next few years once he makes a move to one of these teams, or to Hendrick (which I'd be astonished if that ever happened).

Of the few to pick from one more thing Gibb's, and Hendrick have going for them is they are one of the few teams to have a pretty good handle on the COT right now. That may help persuade him.

I think this has put even more presure on Mr. Mears is to perform. Mears long term contract would not stop Hendricks if he could get Jr.

After all, it's all about the money!
