I think something is up with Jimmie Johnson. They need to do an extra inspection on him pre race. NASCAR always seems to be bending over backwards for Johnson...

What do y'all think?

I am by no means a JJ fan, my favorite drivers are Kenseth, JR, Martin, Smoke. I think JJ is a really good driver but I don't cheer for him(unless he is my driver for fantasy grin.gif). But I do have to agree with Lawdog on this, I think that Nascar watches his cars pretty close with the stuff that Knaus has pulled in the last few years. He is a very innovative crew chief and in the past hasn't been afraid to push the rules or try the gray areas of the rule book. Because of his history I really think that nascar keeps a close eye on his cars during pre/post race inspection.

They are just the best out there right now and they are probably the most heavily inspected given Knaus' past problems.

Nope, But he is beating him in the points, and he has won more races this year, oh and he's the reigning champion. The 48 has been one of the best teams since the day they first set foot on the track, good grief he led the points late into his rookie season. Why can't you just admit they are good???

Pre race and post race inspection.

The back-bending, butt kissing, bamboozling, boot licking all started in Daytona, with NASCAR's oh so forgiving and understanding attitude towards the aterations of another of hendricks cars. I think you're right, and even the most objective opinion must surely be suspect!

Uncle Bill and Meaney have both been at the same number of races this year as Kenseth's suspended for cheating crew chief and they are still trying to say Jimmie Johnson's team is the one that's cheating. I think we know the answer to you hypothetical question Bass, they are pretty biased.

Thats the thing, Kenseth isnt the one cheating here. Johnson is the one that cheats (and doesnt get punished) or appears to be cheating a lot. oh well, I am a biased sob here, dont listen to me I guess. Thanks for the comments anyway. Have a wonderful day smirk.gif

I guess while I am thinking of it, look at Las Vegas when NASCAR cheated FOR jimmie johnson...On the 2nd to last pit stop, with like 40 to go, his crew had a tire roll through the pit stalls next to them. The nascar official actually grabbed the tire and rolled it back to them. Its stuff like this that makes me think...guess thats why he always does good. Its just that the rules of NASCAR are different for Hendrick Motor Sports than all of the other teams.
