The Donk
So I am going to Fort Myers this weekend to catch a game, and want to buy a jersey. I promised my wife a Mauersi, and want a Morneauzi for meself. But, would like to see him ink a four year deal himself before I invest the cash. Whatcha think? DinkADunk
Just purchase a Twins Jersey without a players name and number. Then when you decide what you want on the back take it to Steichen's Sporting Goods in St. Paul and have the lady there do the embrodery on your Jersey. She does the embrodery for all of the Twins jersey's so your jersey will be stiched exactly the same. I had her do my Twins Away jersey with Kirby's name and number and it was perfect. Stratosman
Of course Justin is pushing for a long term huge contact, he would be fool not to coming off the MVP. The Twins would be smart to wait and see how the season goes. But if he repeats lasts years performance they need to be ready to shell out huge $$$...I hope it works out and he performs and we ink him. So now, I either get one with my name and number on it or go old school like a Hrbek, Puck, Killebrew, etc...This is especially the case with the Vikes - dang I got like 10 Vikes Jerseys and I would own them for like 1 or 2 years and that player would no longer be on the team. nofishfisherman
Thats the main reason I want Hunter to resign, his is the only Twins jersey I have and they are expensive.
Eric Wettschreck
I hear ya there. I bought a Robert Griffith Vikings jersey. One year later he's gone. I bought a Jacque Jones Twins jersey. One year later he's gone. Maybe I should buy a Carlos Silva and Rondell White jersey.
DinkADunk
Quote: What is the cost to have this done? Well it depends on exactly you want done (back number, front number, name, name plate) but it's not cheap. I don't remember offhand how much it cost so get a quote but IIRC it was around $75 and took 3-4 weeks. It was perfect though.

The Twins want to see Morneau do it again and Morneau is betting that he can.
The Donk
Well I am betting that he can, too. After looking at the jersey in the mall before my trip, I decided "a what the heck". So now I have my Morneau jersey. And wouldn't you know it, sitting at Hammonds stadium on Sunday, enjoying the most beautiful day, Morneau hits about a 380' dong. I am going to have to wear that for every game. P.S. When the Twins get an outdoor stadium, I am soooo in for 20 games/year. That was a LOT better than the inflatable toilet
Scott K
Morneau turned down a 4 year $30-33 million , with 5th year option. What do you think? Should we have offered more? Or do you think he should have taken it?
