Last year I didn't get to icefish, not even 1 day.

This year I promised to change it, so 2 weeks ago I went to a shop and bought....fishing line to respool my rods.

Then the day after temps went into the 40s and now it's been raining for past 2 days.

I am really sorry I jinxed all you guys, I shouldn't have bought anything....

We must have bought line and such on the same day Val . No sooner than I started getting my stuff ready temps went up and ice started going away.. Its not all your fault I guess I am part to blam also!!

well I'm glad that you decided to confess first. For a minute there I thought I caused this. First I spent way to much money on fishing this year....VPG, sat TV, LCD TV, and a generator...but the over the top item that I thought caused it was when I bought an extension for my auger this year.

Don't worry you guys, it was me and a friend of mine, I finished up my permanent real nice, lights and outlets and a whole deal, and he bought a snowmobile, it was us, I apologize.

We havent been over 32 for about 5 days with more of the same to come...down into single digits every night...

Jeez, we even have some SNOW (not much tho) So if you all get the hankering for some long distance perch fishing...we still have some spots open for the 1st Perch Assault tournament on Jan 6th...see my link below...

Valv...So your the one!! I thought it was my nephew, I've been blaming him all along for this goofy weather we've been having?

You and some of the other guys on this thread were the culprits all along....buying new ice fishing gear, riding motorcycles, washing cars, geeze no wonder it has taken winter so long to get here!

But, but, I do believe that winter has finally arrived...snowing like crazy out there? Thats what it's supposed to do in the winter, right? It's been awhile!

At any rate, in light of the fact that winter is now making an appearence, you guys are all forgiven...have a Merry Christmas!
