Canopy's got the idea.....Catfish and wife are included in his total.

Who else is coming??? (Fishhead, Dark30, etc.???)

Who's gonna make the call for a rain out?? Weather forecast is Questionable, but a long way out yet.

Howdy All...

Just talked to Cindy and she wants me to attend. She made the trip to Illinois just fine and wants me to collect some good "mojo" for her upcoming doctor's appointment.

If the time is still the same, I'll see ya around noon or so.

Dan

Glad to hear you can make it Dan! I'll be there with a grill and Horseshoes around noon.

I wish Cindy could be there and I wish her all the luck....I sure hope things work out for you guys! I do pray...I think I should get back to the "thanks" instead of the "questions" and "I wants".

I think I'll probably fish from shore around the Train Bridge so if anyone is worried about not having a boat you won't get lonely!

WET NETS!

I should be there around 1 or so....

I did get a boat. I'm not gonna get a chance to catch bait for the trip so I will probably just use live or dead suckers.

See y'all out there

Carver meeting - what is an estimated driving time from the Twin-Cities to this gathering? It's a 4 hour +/- drive from LDF to the cities. What I'm trying to decide is if I can leave early-morning drive over Sat. -or- drive Fri. night and stay in the area. Will not be bringing my boat frown.gif Sounds like cut-bait and suckers are the baits of choice?

Looking forward to the event.

From west bound 494 in Eden Prairie head south on hwy 212(south bound 494 exit on Valley view go east to south 212) through Chaska to south county road 40.When you get to the first stop in Carver turn left on Broadway,go two blocks and turn left on Main.Go under the bridge and over the dike and all the way back to the end of the park.

Bring some food to burn, something to drink, and some tall stories.

Hey thanks Fish! My back is feeling alot better all of a sudden!

I went out Chubbing and got only a couple before the rain came in. I stopped in at 169 Sports in BP and Jason has a tank full of nice Chubs....I think he said $1 each.

Getting my chubs at 169 sports would be a heck of a lot easier.I spent most of yesterday driving around what seemed the whole state for just a few.

Fishhead,
Your dedication to this event is nothing short of astounding! Thank you very much for your hard labor on the landing today - hopefully the rain won't wash the mud back in...
I've gotta have dinner with my in-laws tomorrow evenin'(according to the missus) so I'm probably not gonna be free to look for B'heads. Capn'Josh says we've got a few down here by the bait shop in Wac so I'll probably go down there Fri. late eve. or Sat morn.. We'll see ya' at the event!
I've got a brat and a beer for ya' Sat night if yer' interested - payment for your efforts. I'll even let ya' fondle the biggest flathead I catch on Sat night. Think we'll set up at the mouth of the Sand.

Fishhead,

For some reason, I had a feeling you'd be good at shoveling mud. Next time it might be to your benefit to post a request for assistance. Oh, wait.......I was doing my hair that night anyway.

I got to the office at 6 this morning so I should be able to meet you for some BH fishing anytime after 4. Let me know when you want to head out.

The schools of bullhead that I was talking about was not at the baitshop on Waconia, it is at Nancy's landing about 2 blocks down. These are small bullheads 4-5 inches, is that what you were looking for? If so I'd be happy to meet you down there tonight to show you where they are. Just shoot me an email.

New to the area... an old catfish fart myslef... you know your a country boy when the smell of a jar of rotten shad sides brings back happy memories of youth.....

QUESTION Can the launches their handle a 17.5' Crestliner ??? 90 HP Yamaha ???? Sounds like maybe the launch is for smaller boats... if so are the fishing areas sandy or mucky.... dont want to bring the boys if they have to wade through swamp...

Thanks !!!
