  1. My wife and I went out of Silver Fox charters in Homer 2 weeks ago. They ran a very good business and put us on fish. Capt'n Steve was our captain. Another company called the "Butt Chasers" had a very impressive catch as we were walking by their store. I can't speak for what kind of a company they are though...
  2. I purchased a 6.5 X 14 Ice Castle this week that was in that price range. When I got it home and looked closely I noticed a small dent in one of the fenders. I called them up and they are going to have a new fender ready for me to pick up tomorrow! I'm not sure what the rules are on this site about giving out business names on the forumn so drop me an email if you want more info! [email protected]
  3. Have the dates been set yet for the LETS statewide? Team Josh is hoping to be able to get back in on the action this year.
  4. Start by scanning your system with a antivirus program. A good one that is free is at www.antivirus.com. Click on the "Housecall" button and do a scan. Then run one of the previously mentioned spyware scanners. I just got done rebuilding my mothers computer that started with these same symptoms. Once you get rid of whatever it is that is causing your problems (or give up and reload) make sure to install a good antivirus program and set it to automatically download the latest pattern files. Another good idea is to make sure you have all the recommended security patches for your operating system installed. Do that by opening Internet Explorer, click on Tools, and select windows update. There will be a link to scan your system and then it will tell you what needs to be updated. Last but not least get a personal firewall installed to prevent people from getting access to your system. Let me know if you have any other questions. -Capt'nJosh
  5. You guys are killing me... Not fishing LETS this year is going to be difficult to say the least! Maybe we will be able to make it to 1 or 2 events anyway... Capt'nJosh
  6. Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming? Sure wish I could make it, but I will be just up the river chasing eyes during iceout. Capt'n
  7. This might be a dumb question, but are we talking ice fishing, or open water? I know the Rainey River is opening up about that time, but is the lake?
  8. I'll second the vote for leatherman micros. If you want to get fancy you can get their names engraved on them too. Capt'nJosh
  9. Team Josh won't be in this year. Both have new baby's that are taking our time. We REALLY enjoyed this league and will be back in the future! Capt'nJosh
  10. Backwater, Thats a pretty kewl contraption, but does it float? Capt'nJosh
  11. Sounds like a great time CD! Unfortunately I have a wedding that weekend so I won't be able to make it. Capt'nJosh
  12. I have a 4 year old golden and found a way around the cocklebur problem. About 2-3 weeks before opener I take him in for a haircut and have them give him a "lab cut". When they are done with him he has 1-2 inches of hair everywhere and looks just like a lab. Since I started doing that I haven't had to pull 5-6 burs off him total. Capt'n
  13. Thanks for all the replys! I spoke with Radde in Waconia and its headed there this afternoon. Thanks again! Capt'nJosh
