On Monday I go in front of our school board to get the NASP program in our school. This is a great program I hope they vote yes. If you have time check this HSOforum out and try and get it in your school. Im a MOM [mom on a mission] and I dont take no for a answer. Wish me luck the kids need it.

Saddie,

My school started the program last year. We are K-4 school on the west side of Lake Minnetonka. We ran the program for 3rd and 4th graders. We participated in the state tournament last year and we had 53 students 1/3 of our 3rd and 4th graders) participate. Their parents drove them the 1.5 hours to Sauk Rapids because they liked it so much. We won the elementary division and now are kids are proud to be the archer state champs.

Our middle school and high school also started the program last year with great success.

Our middle school was highlighted in the Star Tribune reporting on introducing archery back into the schools.

If you have any questions or if there is anything I can help you with on your quest, please email me at [email protected]

Good Luck,
