Drop Axle fish house trailer

Hey love to hunt get the name of the guy you talked too. Thats what i was told to. But then they said when you start trasporting things in there its not considered a fish house. Which is kinda dumb I dont now it just seems like the law is kinda grey. I dont know what the anwser is?????

If ya think about it, how much is a lifetime trailer license? I'm not a cop or a lawyer (thank god) but if there's grey area and a tag really isn't that much a guy can think of it as really cheap insurance.

I just called the DMV, they told me for my particular trailer, it would be around $100.00. For me personally, it is worth it, I won't have to worry anymore. Just my 2 cents.

Hey love to hunt, do you know what type of registration a guy would need if he built a fish house that also is used as an RV, but could also hold a couple of four wheelers. I looked in the statutes and got confused, since its a cargo trailer and also an RV. Thanks

OUT OF CONTEXT, YES MAYBE WALLEYE SLAYER HAS ALL THE ANWSERS JUST ASK HIM HE'S BUILDING A RV/FISH HOUSE/CARGO TRAILER. OH YEA THATS THE TAG YOUWILL NEED TO PULL IT DOWN THE ROAD ALSO!!!!!!

I don't think you would need anything more then a standard trailer license. To qualify as a camper you need things like water tanks (fresh/gray/black) plumbing, and stuff like that.

Thanks for the clarification Love to Hunt. Thats kind of what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. I'm building my second fish house and don't see any reason for having a camper and a fish house. Just wanting to do it right so it covers all my interests this time.

I am currently reworking my lift system on my ice shack and I am building something similar to what you had built. My question is, when the wheels are down, is there some mechanism to lock them in place? I can't imagine all the road force is pushing on the hydraulic cylinder, I would guess that would blow a hose.

After researching just about every trailer on the market. I would have to say Sportmans Fish houses Frames are about the best design I have seen. They are the heaviest Duty and best price.
