St. Croix River Valley Colors

This weekends fall color trip was to St.Croix State Park and Wild River State Park. What a beautiful weekend to be out hiking and enjoying the best time of the year. Next weekend the colors should be closer to home here in SE MN. Here is a sampling of the great color in the St.Croix River valley.

Nice pictures. We also took the family to St Croix State Park on Saturday (first time). It seemed a little passed peak in some areas, but nice color overall. I think we have 3 parks left to see between Afton and Grand Portage just south of Canada!

I love canoing up in that stretch of the river. Some great smallie fishing up there. I was up there twice this year.
