jwhjr
I could get use to this...It's nice to see they're winning the close ones so far this year .
mnwild
This is a very fun team to watch. So far they have won 4 games every possible way. They came back from 2 goals down, won a game in regulation, won a OT game and 2 shootouts they passed all the tests. Going 5-0 on this homestand would be huge for the team, and signing Lemaire is the best thing they could of done. I dont want to jinx it but I have a feeling this team is going to make it to the playoff's (still a ways away) and go very far....
solbes
I'm so pumped to see the excellent power play is back. Those guys are really moving it around and getting great shots. KJ almost had himself his first hat trick last night, DOOINNNGGG... If they can step up the 5-5 skating they will be winning by 2 or 3 goals! RePete
They did move the puck well on the PP. I was hoping one of Fosters slappers would find its way in. I know I'm getting older and slower, but it does appear everyone is flying out there.....or is it just me??
Hockey Guy
RePete,That’s funny that you bring up how fast the game was last night. I was watching the Wild game but switching to the Pitts vs Ranger game during breaks on HD Net. The Ranger game looked like slow motion compared to the Wild game. I have to add that there is nothing like watching hockey in HD. Hockey was made for HD! You can see more of the ice with the wider picture, and the quality of the picture is amazing. Switching back and forth last night was almost depressing. I wish FSN would broadcast Gopher and Wild games in HD. I heard from a friend that he occasionally gets the Wild games on FSN HD but that’s only on Direct TV. My cable company doesn’t offer that channel. mnwild
what a way to finish a 5 game homestand, win the game 5-0 and go 5-0 to start the season.
solbes
I missed the game. I'm assuming Manny got the shutout? Here's hoping we can keep it going with 5 straight games with Cali-teams.
Ely Lake Expert
I am going to have to agree with the 93X morning show guys. Wild go undefeated and win the nhl championship.
mnwild
Nice someone else that listens to 93x, I love listening to those guys in the morning. The question on tonights game, can the Wild be the 2nd team since the 94-95 Penguins to start the season 7-0?? I think they will, this team has been so fun to watch this season and I hope they continue the great play.
RePete
For how good the team looks now, it will be awesome if they gel even further. I was really pleased with Mannys performance against LA. The Kings were pouring it on, and he was right with them. Can't wait for tonights game.
Hockey Guy
That would be great to see them break the record for most wins to start the season. I think they can do it but if they play the way they did against LA they will get crushed by the Sharks and Ducks! Hopefully they come together pretty quick on that top line. I know they are getting a lot of points, but there,s no chemistry there for the majority of the game. Rolston, White, and Butch... Now there's chemistry! PierBridge
Tough game tonight......I'm shocked only one team has started the season 7-0.I think Manny's health will be the key to our season.......
mnwild
Didn't happen last night, still 6-1 to start the season is still very good. Now I heard Gaborik re-injured himself?? They said in the paper it's a mild strain in the groin again, that can't be good. They have a tough game tonight and I have a feeling Backstrom will be between the pipes tonight giving Manny the night off..

mnwild
I hope they can keep this w/o Gaborik. Tomorrow hopefully they can redeem themselves against the Ducks. Its nice to see everyone step up while Gabby is out.
Hockey Guy
I know it’s like I’m spitt’n on the golden calf here, but I would rather see Gabby out then Walz. Of course having them both in the line-up is SWEET. As I stated earlier in this post, Rolston, White, and Buch have great chemistry! Which Wild line is the #1 line anyhow? mnwild
I've been wondering the same thing. I bet even Lamaire doesnt know who the #1 line is.
fishinphilth
Thats why they are 8-1 they cant figure out which line is the #1 line.
Reynolds
Oh Lord, what a game!!! My heart about burst outta my chest. This is just plain fun. Huge win against the top team in the west.
upnorthtmh
This must have been a great game to watch - sadly I am at work and could only get internet updates. But I see in the boxscore and the Startribune coverage that Boogie Man cleaned somebody's clock. I know, fighting is a bad part of the game but I don't care - I love it. Always have and always will. What a team.
mnwild
Yeah baby what a game and they are for real. The Boogeyman did clean someone's clock last night. They said in the paper that the guy he fought was rushed to the hospital, he hit his cheek so hard it caved in the side of his face. One of the wild defenseman said it was the most disgusting thing he has even seeing. Maybe now people will realize dont mess with him.
buzzsaw
The Boogey man is 6 ft 7 inches tall and 270 lbs of muscle! I'd skate away!!

mnwild
Another good outing last night. Boy was that a laser beam off Rolston's stick last night when he had the penalty shot.
