rod preference

i was just wondering what you guys liked to use for a rod when texas rigging soft plastics. mostly wondering what you prefer for length and if you like a medium or medium heavy rod. I have a 6' medium heavy rod with a baitcaster that i use for my texas rig and also for slop fishing and would like another rod so i thought i would get you guys info on rod preferences .i will also use this rod for pitching docks so mabey a longer rod would work better im not quiet sure so any info would be helpful THANKS!!!

Not sure if others would agree, but I use a 7 foot medium heavy rod for T-rigging. I like the length and power to help direct fish out of thick weeds.

I like the med-heavy power, with a fast or at least a mod-fast action. 7 foot is my prefered length.

I like using a 7' spinning rod for tossing my worms but I also have a 9' spinning rod that I use for dropping worms anywhere I want around a dock. The past few weeks I have been using the 9' rod dipping 4"crayfish plastics under docks and it has been fun!!
