2000 Minnkota Maxxum for sale. 74 lb. thrust, 24 volt, 60" shaft. It has some wear and tear, but works great.

FYI- It was on a boat I just bought and I don't have a need for it.

They list for about $950 new. Make me an offer...

rookie, pics added above.

Percherman, yes, I'd be willing to meet you if the price was right. I'm selling the trolling motor- body of motor/head, foot control, plug- the obvious components of a trolling motor (just what you'd get if you bought it new in the box). Batteries are not included! grin.gif

Not sure why you're interested, but I got an 80 lb. Minnkota AP. Lots of guys love the mechanical drive motors (e.g., Maxxum), however, I'm used to the PD and AP models and prefer them.

I was thinking you might want to do some trading but I'm unsure. I'm just the opposite. I'm used to the cable steering and I have a 74lb. AP with CoPilot. Its OK but seems awkward to me.

The perfect unit for me would be an AP with cable steering but I guess that could be a tough/spendy one to engineer.
