I dont do any hunting but arent crows considered the carp/bowfin of the bird family? Is it legal to just shoot them anywhere? I ask this because im sick and tired of crows waking me up at 5am EVERY morning. This morning was the straw that broke the camels back.

which is pretty much all the time, isn't it?

I had a game warden tell me that one time, and he was serious. I don't think that's a commonly agreed upon or accepted answer though...

Careful you don't shoot a Raven though. I believe it is a huge fine, and loss of hunting priveleges. Not sure the difference between a crow and a raven except I believe Ravens are a much larger of a bird. Also, not sure if Ravens and crows are found together, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

Ravens are about the size of a hawk (average height 24"), while a crow is about the size of a pigeon (average height 17"). Ravens also differ from crows by having a larger and heavier beak, and a deeper and more varied barking prrrukk call note. Ravens also have shaggy throat feathers and a longer, wedge-shaped tail.

Hope that helps.
