Steve Foss
HN: Image stabilized lenses make so much possible. I've got a loon chick shot from last night that I like better than any of these, and I've just posted it over on the "bird watching" board. Three years I've been working to get these shots, and finally the timing all came together.

The other loon chick shots, including the chick on the adult's back, I bumped back to the top over in the bird watching board, It's titled: Loon shot I was looking for.
