LODFFB
Yep thats the Govt and people who recive grants and have far too much time on their hands. Yes some people in lab coats were watching Nascar one Sat Night and thought if we change the name of that we could make Intermittent Explosive Disorder. Road Rage. As we all know. The other thing that bugs me about this is I'm a Chevy/J Gordon fan. Ford might capitolize on this and sell MILLIONS of ford Fusions. That would be a shame
walleyeaddict
I would not tell anyone I was a gordon fan......he is a loser. Ford will sell millions of fusions they are a great economy car at an economy time. This HSOforum is not for bashing this post should not be here...But as long as it is who would want a chev?? They are alway broke down or making funny noises!!
Neiko
I got 234K miles on my 99 Silverado with the origianl starter and alternator. I would never by a dodge but if I had to I might buy a ford car.

VMS
Couldn't it be determined that 42 of the drivers are "losers" every week? 2nd place is the first loser in the bunch... :-) Heck...that means everyone is a loser!! Oh...it will be the end of NASCAR as we know it!! CNN, FOX, MSNBC, etc will be following this up and coming story and tell the world that NASCAR is full of Losers!! They might find that EVERY driver suffers from IED on Raceday (especially when they visit Bristol) or if you are in Phoenix with Kurt Busch driving somewhere away from the track. If the date is 6/6/06 that only emphasizes the IED attacks and if Cup is racing that day, LOOK OUT!!! The end is near guys and gals...you heard it here first. JohnMickish
I find it highly disrespectable to be making light of things called an I.E.D. Grow a pair, enlist, serve overseas then come back and see if you still have that smart punked attitude.
snowman678
Not defending anyone here, especially since I still can't figure out what the he!! the 1st post is saying, but there was a big story on the national & local news in the last day or so about a different IED (I think they called it intermittent explosive disorder or something) that deals with road rage. Just offering my 2 cents trying to keep the peace. If it was a hack on the other IED, I agree w/ you completely.
VMS
The original post was talking about the intermittent Explosive disorder...trying to (I would suspect) kiddingly make a comment on how after ford came up with their advertising using the OAD (overactive adrenaline disorder) and not all that long after, we get this new thing called IED (Road rage). I think he is trying to make light of something that is really a bogus thing to begin with... The way the media spun it, road rage is something you can now "suffer from" rather than control your temper....it's that stupid of an idea, yet we have people who are getting paid (and in many ways out of our own tax $$) for coming up with this stuff... I don't think the first thread, or any thereafter meant anything that was to be misinterpreted toward real suffering that takes place. At least I did not take it that way, and if I offended anyone with my comments, I sincerely apologize.Steve
LMITOUT
This thread is going nowhere.....time to move on and back to topics that are directly related to NASCAR. Thank you.
