wyldewal
Woo Hoo, On the the top of both lists. Even a blind chicken find a nut and gives it to a squirrel once in a while, or something like that. (you'll have to ask casaloma) Thanks airjer for all the work.
OUTDOORNUT
Thanks again airjer!!! If these guys would deactivate their drivers for one week to let the rest of us catch up......that would be great. jbell1981
We are only 1/4 thru the season, there are 27 more races to catch up. Its going to get interesting once we get halfway and beyond, when the 9 starts per driver becomes more of a factor.
Jeremy airjer W
Jbell is correct outdoor. We will likely see a lot of rank changes in the coming weeks. lawdog
I can almost hear Larry Mac calling this out... JohnMickish
That funny lawdog. Woohoo, I was second to last. I feel like I should be driving the 55! (I hate to say it but I also feel like I could be driving the 16, but at least he runs good.)
harvey lee
Lawdog You are right. My drivers pretty much got all swept up in the crashes and Jr. blows.Stinks to be me this week but thats O.K. as every one has to take thier turn.My turn was the last 2 weeks and I hope it stops soon. Sifty
I had Jr. in our league and was following it though the net. It looked good for awhile but then he blow's up.In the interview he said he "spon the engine in reverse"What's that mean?Sifty
Jeremy airjer W
When Dale spun his car he didn't get the clutch in or get it out of gear fast enough. When the car rolls in reverse while its in a forward gear the engine will litterally turn over backwards. According to DW its really hard on the valve train. Personally I couldn't say for sure what it damages but it can't be good going from 5,000 - 7,000 rpms the right way and within a couple of seconds turn the same RPM the other way. outdoor ran
Clueless racing team must of let the kid out of the closet and let him pick some drivers congrads on the good week Wal. Airjer thanks for taking the time and posting for us.
lawdog
Do you think its that airjer, or did he just peg the foot feed and not have it in gear spinning the engine without any drive line pressure on it while he was going backwards? I couldn't hardly believe a tranny and particularly a clutch would hold going from 190 forward to 100 in reverse when I heard them say that, but I know there driveline stuff is pretty much bullet proof too so maybe. I was wondering what actually happened, but if you watch these races, its pretty common to see that after a guy spins out and pegs the foot feed, that then later he'll have motor problems... eyepatrol
Foot feed??? Do you mean gas pedal???
Jeremy airjer W
No, they actually spin the motor over backwards. foot feed? Thats right next to the bonnet lever right? (only the guys that have owned European cars will get that)
lawdog
Quote:No, they actually spin the motor over backwards.HOLY COW! That just can't be good...Oh by the way, I read something the other day about people in this day and age never even hearing what a footfeed was. The old school word for gas pedal has about disappeared...
eyepatrol
footfeed....hmmm, interesting word and way to put it. At first I thought it was something one does when they say something stupid.
OUTDOORNUT
The Dog showing his true age....... He also remembers such things as: Davenports, Foot & Mouth Diease, Residental Milkman, The Dust Bowl, Black & White T.V., and racing on the Beaches of Daytona! harvey lee
I thought that I was the only one getting up in years but it looks like the Dog isnt to far behind. In the good old days you layed on the davenport and watch the old black and white.I remember the milkman and his ice cream treats also. When the color T.V.s came out that was really a big deal.It was also nice when the new phones came out so you didnt have to listen to the ring to see who it was for. The good old days-right Dog?
