Trolling motor shaft lube/protection

Im trying to avoid having my shaft get all scratched and squeeky like my previous minkota, what works good ?

Armor All has been ok for me. Silicone should also do the trick nicely.

Any of the above but wipe it dry after you apply or you'll have road dirt sticking to the shaft.

Naw, only two of em. I use KY Jelly on the other.
