Yellow Dog
I have 1986 EZ Loader roller trailer that needs a new axle and hubs.(the bearings are sliding and the races won't seat anymore)I've checked Northern and the dimensions are wrong. Anybody have any Twin City sources for trailer parts?
0 Surface Tension
The hubs should be easy to find. Is there something wrong with the spindles? What measurement aren't you finding, the length of the axle? Instead of replacing the whole axle you can grind the weld from the spindle and have new spindles welded. Any small indepentant shop should be able to do both for you.

0 candiru
Check into Pioneer Rim and Wheel (?) in Mpls. I needed an axle for an oddball snowmobile trailer ,they had it in stock and I didn't feel I paid too much. I also know someone that had them build a custom axle and last I knew he was satisfied. 0 efgh
I know Tractor suppy can order any deminsion and weight of axle you want with hubs and bearning. You just have to measure the spring width and hub width before you go there. If I was replacing the spring axle I would purchase the rubber shock axle and throw the springs away, the spindles on these axles can be ordered any way from straight down to straight back, straight back would lower the frame of the trailer quite a bit and alow you to load your boat in shallower water. Just a thought.
0 fish2live
do a search for etrailerparts i think it was etrailerparts.com but, can't tell you for certain anyways they are out of texas and will build you a tortion axle to your dementions for right around 250.00 and it comes with hubs and bearings. just bolt on to your trailer may need to weld some tubing to get the right clearence but, not a big deal. i did this last year it was cheaper to put a tortion axle than to by a axle springs and hubs. since it is a ez load you may want to go to there web site and see if they have a axle that will fit or shorelanders web site i know they had a lot when i was looking but, nothing that would fit my spartan trailer. hope this helped and not just confuse. 0 harvey lee
I agree with Surface Tension Buy new spindles and weld those on and then your hub and you should be like new.We have done it to trailers and its not that big of a job.
0 Yellow Dog
Thanks for the tips. I did take the tip to contact the manufacturer...go figure! They had the parts after I dug out the VIN # on the title. For a new axle, hubs, bearings, buddies, bolts and shipping = $225.00Peace of mind well spent I think. Thanks again!
