Mr.Twister Exude...

This post belongs more in the Sponsor Showcase forum, but please bear with me as they are the main sponsor of the Bass page on FishingMinnesota.com

I wrote an article to help explain what Exude plastics is and it is on the main web site for FM right now. You can see the whole article here.

http://www.fishingminnesota.com/fishinfo359.html

Mr.Twister has gone out of their way to be a part of the FishingMinnesota family. They have made a web site just for us.

http://www.mistertwister.com/minnesota

If you go to this web site, and place an order you will get as much as 20% off, just for being a FishingMinnesota member. I know many were looking for the Salatubes and Comida(exact same weight as the Senko at only $3.35 per pack with our FM discount.) last year as well as the B.A. Hog...Now you can order them online in your favorite colors at 20% even as much as 30% off depending on what and how much you order.

Going to take advantage of the discount to stock up now!

I did take your tip last spring and tried your secret bait on bass opener and it worked puuurfectly!

I fished it weighless and threaded it on the hook like a weedless senko. It has a unique action to it when you pull it through the water. Can't put a finger on it, but almost reminds me of a darting minnow. Whatever action it is, it works and I too would recommend having a package or two in your arsenal.

Carl-when you click on the product you will see the regular price... However, when you click "View Cart" your shopping cart you will see somthing that says.

unfortunately, no luck for me. i tried multiple times and it always showed up as the 4.19 price instead of the 3.35. The shipping really kills the deal however unless i buy 75 bucks worth...

I just ordered mine. The discount worked. However, the discount isn't reflected on the price listing, but, in the subtotal. When you check out the 20% discount is listed there as well.

Can't to get out there and catch some fish with these.

Was just reading the article and wanted to clarify something Salts actually make the plastics stiffer once you add salt to plastisol you have to add softener to get that soft feeling back, some manufactures add to much softener and thats why there baits fall apart.

I will say if you haven't tried an exude product you need to! I know everyone thinks it is similar to Gulp! but its not, it doesnt dry up, its easier to handle, and imho catches more fish! The Comidas are a very good stick bait and there brush hawg is awesome to, plus they have a way better color selectioon than plain OLD Gulp!

perhaps it is something due to Mozilla Firefox. I use firefox at home and never saw this page "http://www.mepps.com/mistertwister/discounts/fishingminnesota/Default.asp?"

it always took me to the home page. But at work with Internet Explorer I see it fine. I may have to try some and order them.

Deitz,

I just put in an order for some of my favorite Exude products. What a deal!

It's nice to know there's a company out there that cares for the Bass fishermen and doesn't have a "corner on the market" attitude. The one I'm thinking of charges $5.98 for their product and refuse to give anybody a break on the price.

Last year I ran out of my favorite Exude colors. The Bass wore them out! With this great savings (Thank you Mr. Twister) I'll be ready for them this year.

Ole cool.gif

Hey Dietz, do you know if Mr. Twister plans on pushing Exude products more heavily through retail stores this year? I have used very little of the Exude baits out there; primarily because you can't find any. From what it sounds like, their stuff is the real deal and should be a successful product. So Whats the deal?

Onthewater,

I'm with you. In the past it's been hard to find Exude products but thanks to the "Bassmiester", we can now get them through FM. (Just don't let on to your Bass league competition what you're using and, that you can get them at a discount if you're an FM'er!) In many lakes fish haven't seen this stuff before.

First off, thanks to everybody!.. this has gone over better than I had thought. I also, cant claim much of the responsibility for this. People are thanking me, and all I did was put Mr.Twister in contact with Rick here at FM...

Carl-Glad things worked out for you. If I had to guess I would guess it has more to do with a fire wall or your coockies or something. I have IE at work and Fire Fox at home and it worked both places for me. No matter what, it looked like it worked great for you, and nice job getting around the shipping as well. grin.gif

Ole- You better stock up- now you wont have to beg me for any of mine!!!

OnTheWater- When Exude first hit the market, Berkley and Zoom already had the market pegged. Stores are unwilling to part with store room space of product that was selling for them. People were unaware of what exude is, and they didn't market it very hard. Hence even though salespeople tried to get it in stores around here, the stores were not buying it. The Exude grubs sell very good. Places like Walmart and even some convienience store carry the grubs, but that is about it. Mr.Twister is hoping that by offering the people of FishingMinnesota a discount that they will then get hooked(pun) on the product and start asking for it in stores. When the consumer asks for a product, then you will be able to find it.

Thanks again to all for welcoming Mr.Twister on board with FM and expecially the bass page. Please remember, this is on all Mr.Twister products and not just the Exude...

If you guys need to see it in stores I know Sportsman Wharehouse has a pretty good selection of it in store. Dietz is right about Zoom and Berkeley having a Large share of the market up here, hopefully they'll realize that as far as these products go Exude is the best out there.

Dietz I thoought Exude brought out a beaver imitation in exude this year? I could have swore I seen it in the Mr Twister catalog, but I dont see it online?

Dude, you let the secret out... the Funky Chicken is no longer safe grin.gif

The Funky Chicken RT Slug counted for quite a few fish for me this past open-water season. A great color combination and the style allows for various techniques and rigging options. Great for weighted or weightless, and bass sure do like 'em!

The Exude B-A-Hawg is one of my personal favorites. Another excellent plastic that can be fished in a variety of ways and can work wonders on both shallow and deeper water bass...

MJbassAvatar.JPG

The Comida is definitely going to turn some heads this year... both anglers and bass wink.gifgrin.gif I'm looking forward to using them in both lakes and rivers for hog largies and smallies.

Being the panfish geek that I am, I've also become very fond of the Exude Micro Shads. An excellent profiled plastic for both crappie and sunfish. It was one of my mainstays this past open-water season andt they'll get a workout this spring as well...
