0 S.D. Ice Angular
It is the best I know of.I have used it for years and have many sets in the closet but if you are going to use it in the winter be sure and get the Under Armour “COLD GEAR” weight. I have the “HEAT GEAR” weight for spring and fall.Is well worth the money…
0 koochiching
Quote: I have had guys tell me this "Under Armour" is great long underwear. Anybody have any info that? The Under Armour "coldgear" base layer clothing I've seen is not available in "tall" sizes, and I refuse to pay over $100 for underwear that is a bit short in the sleeves and cuffs... On the other hand, if regular sizes fit you well, you can check it out at Cabela's, either online or preferably in their outlet stores at Owatonna or Rogers. Cabela's also has an extensive selection of its civilian version of the military's "Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (E Wachs), and it is available in "tall" sizes and in medium and polar weights. The E Wachs base layer is made of tech silk and is also quite expensive, but it costs about half of what you'll pay for the Under Armour "coldgear". The Under Armour people should give you a patch to put on your anorak sleeve, saying "I'm wearing $115 underwear"... The E Wachs second layer that I got at Cabela's is the very best extreme cold weather underwear I have ever owned. But you need a base layer, either the "coldgear" or the tech silk, on under this second lawyer. I got the "polar expedition" weight Zip T-neck tops and conventional style drawers, both in "tall" sizes... For extended wear, the Zip T-neck has to fit you perfectly, not too tight, but not too loose either. Because you're dealing with 3, and possibly 4 layers, it is really critical that the first two layers fit very well. I ended up making two trips to Cabela's new Rogers store, and actually trying on everything in one of the fitting rooms. I'd highly recommend that approach to anyone who is going to purchase two or more layers, and wants them to fit properly... Now, all I need is an XXL balaclava... kooch
0 backlash 1
All I can say is make sure you keep your reciept and tags!My wife and I each bought a set of Under Armor Cold Gear a few weeks ago because we heard how good it was. After wearing them twice, (we froze) back to the store they went. They might be good for moisture wicking if you are maybe crosscountry sking, but if your sitting on a deer stand, forget it.I work outside a lot and am aclimated to cold weather, and for what it costs that stuff is a joke. 0 bigdog
I have a heat gear short sleeve top and it does a good job of keeping me dry when I sweat up. Wear it for upland hunting in any temperature.
0 rangr
Just bought some from Cabelas. They have it for 30% off, not a whole lot of colors but it works great. I work outside all year long and so far I like it. As far as tall sizes Im 6'3" and I bought a 2XL fits just fine.

0 hanson
I just saw the Cabelas ad as well advertising 30% off of all Under Armour including Cold Gear. For those prices, I can stomach buying the top & bottoms. Never thought I'd pay that much for "long underwear".
