REMOVAL OF MARCUM FROM SOFT PACK?

Does anyone know if there is a trick to this? It seems very difficult to get out of the case. I just got my upgraded lx-3 back and I would like to be able to slide it out of the case to reinstall the power head. any tips would be appreciated, Iceman out>

Make sure you have ALL the velcro tabs loosened...on the bottom of the flasher side of case especially..then push forward from the bottom of the unit on battery side...

Undo the velcro at the bottom of the soft pack in front. It's snug, but it will slide out. I do this once in a while when it's really gotten wet inside.

You don't really need to do this to replace the head, but it sure makes it easier to position those 4 rubber washers. Dern fat fingers...

Exactly......when i sent it in...i left the washers inside the pack so i wouldnt lose them....i think one has rolled underneath or something so im hoping i will find it when i push out the unit. Thanks guys.

I think one of my washers went with the power head to Marcum and now I am missing one. Have you seen these at the local hardware store or do I need to do some creative cutting of a biciclye innertube?

You think removal of softpack is hard? What till you want to put it back on.

I've had mine out a few times and can do it in the dark now.
