castmaster Posted November 25, 2005 Share Posted November 25, 2005 i have the ipi and it works well. the otter tubes also look like they wouldnt be a bad way to go. i personally dontl ike the way the ryans racks auger mount holds the auger, just doesnt strap down as tight as the ipi. And your right they do secure the auger a whole lot more to the ATV. The good part about the Ryans holder it would be a whole lot quicker to mount on and off when drilling lots of holes over a large area. jerkin'm Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 I just lay it on a board cut out to hit the metal contact parts and strap it down with the cam type straps off the back of my boat...it has enough torque to bend the rack if you aren't careful but it doesn't budge.....
