james_walleye
Ok im in a loser board. Originally 60 people down too about 28 now. Double elimination and you can only use a team once. Im undefeated but i face a tough week. Which of these teams is the safest bet too lose. Raiders at Chiefs. Packers hosting the Steelers possibly without Big Ben. Dolphins hosting the Falcons. Or the Cards hosting the Seahawks. I dont really like any of them but its options i have. You know darn well not all 4 of these games will go the way you think thats the problem. So give me opinions guys. Im leaning toward the raiders simply because they are the only road team and they are at Arrowhead. The chiefs run game and playaction game should have good success. What do ya think.
nofishfisherman
If Big Ben is playing Green Bay is toast. Pitt plays really well on the road and the pack are the worst team fo all that you mentioned. If he doesn't play then its 50-50 so stay away from that one.Raiders at Chiefs is tough. The raiders have played well and Lamont Jordan has been a machine for them lately. He has been getting into the end zone every week. You might also want to look at Priest Holmes he left last weeks game early with a head injury. Make sure he is 10o% before picking the Raiders to lose. I think I would probably go with the Falcons over the Dolphins. Falcons are coming off a bye week and they are a much better team then the Dolphins. I would say they have about a 75% chance of beating the dolphins in that game. So if Big Ben plays against Green Bay I would pick Green Bay to lose, if he doesn't play then I would pick Dolphins to lose.
IFallsRon
I'm one of three standing in my Survival League. I'm taking KC this week. KC and Oakland generally split home and home. I wanted to take Houston last week and folded at the last second.
96trigger
Steelers over Packers ( be wary, Pack is against the wall, but should be an easy win, with or without Big Ben)Chiefs over OaklandAtlanta should beat the Dolphins.
Hockey Guy
There is no way the Dolphins will beat Atlanta!!
nofishfisherman
The Dolphins shouldn't beat the Falcons but its not a lock. The Dolphins have beaten the Broncos and the Panthers at home so they are able to beat good teams at home. Especially if their run game keeps heating up like it did last week.My lock is still Pitt over Green Bay.
Fishin Beast
Brett Farve is one of those that can pull out a big game or 2 though so it is never safe to go against the packers. But it is safer than unsafe. Go with the Raiders this week though, they will pull out this one.
james_walleye
Anyone got any thoughts on the cards losing too the seahawks? I see Denny pulled a good one and is starting Warner again. That alone makes me think i should pick Arizona too lose. That might be the safest bet yet. You know Alexander is going too run wild. And the cardinals will kick FG's with Warner. JIvers
ESPN is reporting that Roethlisberger will not play against the Packers. So, you'll have Tommy Maddox versus a bad Packers team and Brett Favre...don't bet either way on that one if you don't have to.
Green&Gold
Actually it will be Charlie Batch. Same difference. I think Cowher saw enough of Maddox a couple weeks ago to keep him benched for quite awhile. I will always root for the Pack. That said, I think their only chance of winning is stopping the run. Packer's D-line needs to be stout and play at least at the same level they have if not one step better. If they can force Batch into some throwing downs, they might have a chance at a turnover or two. I'm not banking on Favre and the offense putting up too many points against Pittsburgh's D. james_walleye
Well i turned in my pick, i can still change it if i want too. I did something i dont want too do, i took a home team too lose. The cardinals are 0-3 with Warner at QB and now he is without Boldin. With Boldin, Warner couldnt get them in the endzone, it will be harder now. The seahawks beat them 37-12 this year already. No matter how rotten the pack looks, its hard too pick against them at home, no matter who they play. Especially if Charlie Batch is at QB. Miami has beaten good teams at home. Oakland has looked much better the last 2 weeks. Im going with Arizona too lose. I have too believe Alexander will go off against that defense. Holmgren has had 2 weeks too prepare for the game. I dont like the pick, but im going with it.
nofishfisherman
Well I guess no one was wrong on this one. Every team we predicted to lose did lose. Great football minds all around.
james_walleye
This week my hopes of staying undefeated rest on the shoulders of the vikings, the vikings too lose that is.
