JIvers
I am writing this at halftime, but it is safe to say that Vikings are going to be embarassed some more in the second half. My focus is on what the Vikings should do after today's meltdown. After a good showing last weekend against the Saints, Culpepper shows no ability to avoid the rush, an inability to control the ball, and no faith in his receivers. That is not entirely his fault, as the offensive line is a mess. I have spoken against putting Johnson in, but if Culpepper has another awful game, a benching might give him time to clear his head. I do not believe that Brad Johnson will turn this season around, as he is too immobile and injury-prone to last long with this team's awful offensive line play, but it may snap DC out of his funk. Of bigger concern is the Viking defense, which is getting shredded on the ground. Nver mind Vick, Duckett, and Dunn--Matt freaking Schaub, whoever he is, filled in for an injured Michael Vick and ran for forty-four yards. The Viking defense is missing five starters, but every team has to deal with injuries, and the Vikings are not doing that very well. I would be much happier if the Vikings came out of the bye week with a new head coach. Tice is not responsible for the injuries, but he is responsible for the shoddy play and poor adjustments made by his team. With the NFC North a running joke, it is actually possible this Vikings team could still win the Division if some changes are made. On a plus note, we have a great punter. united jigsticker
Well, I listened to KFAN quite a bit this week.Tice isn't and wasn't concerned with winning this game.He said on Mike Tice live Wednesday night that if they come out of this game 1-3 "it's really no big sweat".I really think they only care to win divisional games. With that comment alone, I would have fired his (Contact US Regarding This Word). What a joke.Tice needs to be fired. They don't learn from mistakes...Then again, niether does Daunte.Geeze.
Stratosman
Almost the worst defense in the league again for like the 10th year straight, Don't know but probably one of the worst offenses and it has to be the single worst O-line in the league as of now. Too much to fix I think.
bucketmouth64
How much longer do we need to put up with Tice. Cottrell would be named interim coach if he gets canned. Based upon how he is doing with the defense that is all he will be...interim. How much longer will it take Tice to realize Johnson (guard) is in way over his head. Goldberg should be the starter beginning next week. The only bright spot on this team is our punter Kluwe. How sweet was the kick that landed on the 1 yard line. Bobby Bass
If the Vikes played in the big 10 and the Gophers played in the NFL who do you think would post a win first?

mnvikingsfreak
I love mike tice's famous quote "we didnt make enough plays" hopefully we wont have to hear that anymore maybe this bye week is d-day for that loser!
8-Ball
Today on his weekly press conference, Big T said this, and in all seriousness, nonetheless-:" It's not like we have 3 or 4 guys out of position- it is ONE guy on every play where we have a breakdown. I know prople won't believe me when I say this, but we are not that far off, we are really close". I about barfed when I heard this. It was/is a classic Dennyism. At least Tice will face the media after miserable blowout after blowout. Denny would either stay in the "bunker" and not face the media at all like the coward he was/is, or when asked a question about his teams lousy performance in said game, he would mumble " We don't talk about the past, we are always looking to getting better the next game". I always love that one!
nbdyknws
Kluwe is the best thing going right now in the NFL, and what better place to be a punter than Minnesota right now The kickers are solid atleast.
