Congrats on your robin hood! I have never been able to do that. How far into the shaft did the second arrow go? How far away were you shooting from? Funny, I was watching some show a couple of weeks ago "myth busters?" and they were trying to see if it was possible to do a true robin hood where it is split from nock to point. It's not possible they found. You can get a partial such as how you did I'm sure unless you are pulling our legs! wink.gif They showed how arrows fly in slow motion, it's amazing how much flex they go through during flight! Again, congrats.

Congrat’s Bucks-N-Ducks,

Although it is cool shooting a Robin-Hood. Having all of my four arrows touching at the tip is more impressive to me because even when the tips are touching the nock’s are not touching at all. wink.gif

I dont know how far down the shaft a arrow will go,but 2 years I put a aluminum arrow within 8 inches of the point of the other and the shaft split even on one side all the way to the last 2 inches. That is the only arrow ive ever done like that.I call it a one in a million shot.

About a week ago. I was shooting my bow. I was getting good patterns. Anyways I shot the 2nd arrow. When it hit the arrow just didn't sound right. so I walked up there and I saw that my arrow hit the nock of the 1st arrow. Now I can't use that arrow because the field tip opened that nock so now I have to buy a new nock. Then about a month ago I was shooting broadhead and I hit the nock of the 1st arrow and cut that nock up really good. Then about a month ago I was shooting again and took off the whole nock and took off some of the arrow (carbon) at the end of the arrow so I can even use that 1 to. wink.gifI swear it sucks being to good of a shot. wink.gif goodluck shooting this year. ITS ONLY A WEEK AWAY I AM SO PUMPED FOR THE SEASON!!

kc, you hit on the reason - damaged arrows - that inside of 20 yards, I never shoot at the same target. Arrows aren't cheap, why not just put more targets on your butt? I also get the little red stickers that you use on rifle targets, stick that in the center of my cutout cardboard targets, then I can still see how my arrows are grouping, even if I shoot at different targets.
