Statewide LETS, Lake Ida -Alexandria area, June 26th!

Recommended Posts

It won't be long and the Leading Edge Tournament Series is heading to Lake Ida, near Alexandria, MN on Sunday, June 26th! We are looking for a few teams to fill some openings for this event.

This is a multi-species tournament, so it's a great time to meet some new people and fish some great waters. Trophies for the top 3 savvy teams and 100% payback on tournament fees to boot!

Cost of this event will be $50 per team.

We will be camping at a team member's place near Alexandria for this event. Join us for a day or weekend of fun!

Contact me at [email protected] to sign up.

To read more information, it is posted here:

LETS INFORMATION

We also have 2 Otter Tail County events (Rush Lake and Mystery Lake) in July and August!!

One member from every team should have received directions to Ron's campground via email.

Another note, we are using the northern-most East access on Lake Ida for the event. (There are 2 accesses on the east side, we are using the northern one.)

Still not too late to sign up if anyone else would like to fish with us for the day.

Hoping you all can come by and say hi...love to put faces to handles! I may be in the boat on Carlos for the Lake Swim..(big swim meet this weekend..) but you might catch me at the shop too...

Either way....we'll offer LETS participants a 10% discount this weekend. Just let my boys know you're in the LETS tournament on IDA, and we'll knock 10% off your purchase!

good luck gang!

Deitz,

I think you are right on in your predictions, I don't think limits of bass and pike will be an issue.

ROCK BASS-- on the Whitefish chain we caught 16 rock bass during the actual tournament, and then in two hours on Tuesday we caught 7 rock bass, two in 4', three in 8', one in 12', and a real hog in 32'. I don't think I have caught that many rock bass in my entire life besides these two lakes.
