Nno problem guys! Just glad that they're useful to someone besides me!

SPEAKING OF WHICH.... I'm working with a guy here at wrk who has a way to add pictures to an Excel spreadsheet! Once we're done, the idea will be to be able to link a picture or two to each and every entry if you so choose. Maybe that trophy on that one trip, or the kids smilin' with a sunny.. you get the idea! grin.gif

Big Sky - What do you think my location thing means... WEST OF HEAVEN... or should I say Football Mecca?? cool.gif Of course I'll share with a cheeshead! laugh.gif

Think you could send both to edwardsg at comcast.net?

Sounds like you've put together a very handy set of spreadsheets. I've done a fair amount of Excel work - so I might be able to offer something back.

Thanks, GTE

bassmasher - no problem! Have fun filling them out!

GTE - handy?? I hope so... guess it depends on waht you need in your log. Sometimes I think it's gotten to be a little TOO full of things to enter... but then I think, "Can you ever have too much fishing information"? grin.gif

Anyway - sent yours just before I typed this!!

click & highkight what you want printed... then click the printer icon.. should be pretty easy from there!

BUT... you might need to do this... slick on the file icon, go to page set up, then set the print area... one thing to remeber is that it takes up a lot of pages to do... like 6 or 7, regardless of if you're printing one filled line or just the headers.

I usually just keep notes in a small notebook and enter things onto the computer later on...

I can't believe I haven't seen this post before...The wind is blowing 45 mph today and decided to spend some time on the internet...If you haven't gotten carpel-tunnel yet from sending your spreadsheets to everyone, I'd love to own a copy of them...

Hey, here's an idea. I don't know, you decide, but if you want, you can upload your file to a HSOforum where others can download it, so you don't have to email them and keep emailing out updates -- just update your original post with the link to the file and people can download it.

I use this site here -- you just upload the file, and they'll create you a link that you can post here for others to download it. It's free, I'm not advertising for them for profit or anything. Just thought it was a cool way to share files like this with tons of people. Easier than email, and you can always keep the up-to-date version up there.

Link To File Sharing Place - wikiupload.com

For instance, I created a basically blank excel spreadsheet on my computer, went to the link above, uploaded my super-complicated-blank spreadsheet (took only like 5 seconds), then it gave me two links. The second link is right here -- description of the file plus a download button:

link

Voila. Everyone can get at the uber-boring spreadsheet that I created and uploaded. Free, easy, convenient. Try it out if you want, slick. Or don't try it if you don't want. Just a suggestion.

I'm sure there are a million ways to skin a cat and stuff, and I'm sure that there are other sites out there for file sharing. This one seemed simple, I didn't have to give them any personal information to upload or download the file, so I thought I'd just point it out.

THanks Brian -

As far as links go, there IS one out there - back a few pages, another FM'er offered to host the pages, and has the latest versions of both on there. But, sometimes those posts get buried or missed, so I don't mind sending a few out. cool.gif

I'm also working on a HSOforum in my spare time to host them, so it's easier to update and for people to be able to download them. cool.gif

I'll make it easy for ya'll and host it.

(Ice Fishing)

Remember, when it opens, click File - Save As and save the document to your desktops!!!

any questions, email me @

But, they didn't seem to work - I get "file not found" error. Maybe I have something hosed up on my end. Who knows. Maybe it just disappeared or I have some permissions set wrong....I don't know. Can you still get to it?

I can post it up on my personal HSOforum if you're interested, so that it's available again, while you're getting your site up and running. Let me know. [email protected]

Also, if you want to avoid the "buried link" syndrome, you could edit your original post and put the link in there. People new to the thread will start there anyway to see what the thread's all about.

Later.

If you want to put it up, that's fine with me. I definitely won't complain about it. At least until I get mine finished, it'll give those who don't want to wait for me to email it a chance to get it right away, but like I said, it's not as bad as it may seem to send them out, so I really don't mind.

The HSOforum is going to be running by the end of next week for sure, hoping for this weekend.

    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
