Has any one tried this yet. Picked one up and threw it for pick and one smallie nailed it at the boat landing. But the action and the suspension is awesome. Just wondering if any of you have dabbled??

I bought one last weekend and threw it for about 15 minute at the end of my last tourney and caught a small largemouth.

I am not much of jerkbait guy but plan to keep it on and throw it some more this weekend in WI.

I love it. I used it last Saturday and caught a 20+ pike on it and two real nice largemouths. I think it is going to be a great bait this summer. I am not a big jerk bait/slash bait guy for anything but muskie, but I think this lure will be on the end of my line quite a bit this summer.

I tried one early in the week on a day I thought would be a 0 outing. took a nice smallie in the first 5 minutes and had three chasers. Then I bounced the lure off the trolling motor and it broke. All I got back was a piece about an inch long. All ready have two more on order.

I'm not anywhere close to being a good jerkbait fishermen and even I was able to catch some nice smallies on x-raps down on lake pepin this April. Be careful near the riprap these things cast a long ways!

I think this is going to be a real good all round bait. I got three of them and caught everything from bass and northerns, to walleyes on them.

Like B.K. did, you need to go to Fleeet Farm, everything they sell is priced cheaper.

I purchased a Silver Blue X-Rap, but havn't been able to get it wet yet. After reading these reports, I may have to pick up a couple more before our BWCA trip at the end of June!

They are great lures, I have the purple ghost one and the blue one. I will be using them this weekend for sure. They can be used as a surface twitch bait on down to 5 feet deep or so. Good luck to all on the opener~Squee

Turn it up: As far has how deep they run well that depends on how far you cast it (and if you want to you can cast it a country mile) and what your diameter line is that will give it more resistance. However it is completely neutral boyancy (sp?) therefore it can get down there quite a good distance and hang right in their face. It is a beautiful lure. I must say well done to those in Finland. ike
