CNY Tim
I-d-i-o-t! I say cut him he will be last of many Butch Davis first round blunders to go out the door. Thank's Butch for another great selection.
JHansel7
Hey man, im a vikings fan, but I happen to love kellen winslow, he is a great player, however it was a stupid mistake, you gotta love a player with some heart unlike the rest of the league. cybermuskie
I think if he had "heart" he wouldn't have trying to ride the bike and been getting ready to play ball. I wonder if he got soft sitting all last year and having all that money burning in his pocket. Man I bet SR. is ticked and embarressed! I wouldn't be surprised if he had to pay them back and didn't play again. Just my .02, not trying to offend
JHansel7
I agree, he should play them back, however, not playing again is a little crazy.
htgeren
He probably wont be playing again this season as preliminary indications are that he tore his ACL and is expected to miss this season too. What an (Contact US Regarding This Word).
buzzsaw
Another NICE pick by a horrible organization that has been snakebitten by horrible drafts!! I'd hate to route for a team that year after year is out of the playoff race after the 5th week of the season. Wheres webster slaughter when you need him or Brian Sipe??? even LeRoy Hoard or the Oz Man??? oh thats right, he's in Baltamore.
muskybuck
So did he crash motorcyle or bicycle or what? I was listening to a sports star one day talk about how careful you have to be every day no matter what you are doing. He was talking about how you owe it to your team mates, the club, the fans etc. You pretty much have to walk around with kid gloves on your whole career. Of coarse maturity helps. Scoot
Having heard this kid in interview half a dozen times, I got the impression that he doesn't believe he owes anything to anyone other than himself. What a self-absorbed, arrogant, narcisist! You reap what you sew I guess.
GullGuide
I can bet being the son of a former player, he was told from day one how great he would be/is. I agree, a total head case. He told reporters that he was only doing 30mph when he crashed, but witnesses have said he was doing wheelies and stuff. His year is over, and maybe his career. CNY Tim
Buzzsaw - Your right I sure do take a beating with my Browns but I stick with them even though they stink. I was very fortunate to go to the stadium last year and watch a rare Browns victory over the skins (another hopeless team).I have had better luck with my St. Louis Cardinals, Celtics and Bruins. My dad passed the Browns curse down to my brothers and I. Some Browns fanatics believe it's the number that Winslow was given 80. For some reason it hasn't been a very good number to give a Browns player since 1966 or something like that. Lot's of injuries associated with that number since then. I am still optimistic even with the winslow set back. I like the new regime and that's a start. It can't get anyworse than it was under Butch at least I'm hoping it cant. buzzsaw
I hope they get better, I have some good customers in Cleveland and a buddy that is a Browns fan and they deserve it!
