Webwarrior, if I was to keep this as is, then use a basic program such as paint and transfer it back into a normal picture, it would enlarge it self after a little work.

Here Webwarrior, I took and put it on my own HSOforum, becuase I couldn't fiqure out how to c+p:

It is the bottom picture:

I find it sooo funny that for some guys that say they wanted to keep this a secret you're all sure spending a lot of time talking about it all over the internet.

Why not just admit your looking to make some cash off of it and let it go at that? Hall of Fame?

It was taken out of season, it should never have been taken out of the water. Please stop with all the stuff about secret locations and saving Green Bay from over fishing. If that was truly the case

we would have never seen these photos. You caught a big fish, great but please save us all the bull

about not wanting the world to know about it, you told everybody on the planet about it.

Yes Hall of Fame, there is a national fishing hall of fame, where we create a replica and put it into our files. This is only a job I volunteer my time too, becuase I don't have anything better to do. I am part of the replica making part also. I start out with a balsa or birch core and work outwards, finishing with a airbrush job that takes 2-3 months.

Also when Musky Hunter releases the pictures into the magazine. They will have the edited pictures at this moment. Only 17 people have seen and actually have on their computer the actual photos, me being one of them.

If you have questions keep bringing them up, more then happy to talk about them.

yeah, if you look at the 2nd pic on the 1st page, by the anal fin you can see there is some erased parts and it must have been a arm that was cut and made the hand bigger and said it was a "blur" and thats bunch of talk. come on, get real, we're all dying to see the real pictures. at first i thought wow then later i started looking around closely and found different things odd in the picture and found it was Fake.. and that Vertical hold makes me laugh... smirk.gif

You know doing that picture only tok me about 10 seconds to do like that. if I wanted to I could enlarge the picture about 20-25x and use the exact colors in paint and add on and delete some to make it about 150-200 % larger. I mean look at this technology we have nowadays. It only took me 10 seconds to do that with a couple clicks of some buttons.

Im starting a new thought process of trophy fish, musky especially. I will not believe or even listen to the storys of people and there big fish unless I have a real, untouched picture, showing the fish being measuresd/ weighed, It has been verified by something (state record book, line class record) and the fish was kept to be mounted. Why does it have to be kept for me to believe it? Because why would you realease a world record musky? Its worth more to you dead than it is alive, I don't care how much you believe in C&R anyone who gives you grief about keeping a world record fish should be taken out back and beat with a board.

Anyone realize how a GUIDE was with when this FISH was caught? Anyone else get the idea he might be trying to get some extra business? I'm writing this up as a business idea, not a big fish.

Crasher, why do you make replicas out of wood??? Isn't it easier and just as realistic to use graphite or foam?

That was my exact thought! You are on 100% in my very humble opinion.

I believe this is a fake, but if for some reason it is not the guy in the picture should be fined for the vertical hold of a fish out of season. The regs read all fish caught out of season must be immediatly released. I trust when Mr. Webster was at home defining this word he did not intend immediatly to mean take your time, take some pictures to modify later, destroy the spine of a great fish and then release it and pretend you are some great catch and release promoter. The guide should not allow such pictures reguardless of season, the whole thing stinks. I mean really stinks of a rat.

70lbs my arse, I wouldn't even give it 50. I got a real nice pic of my own 70 pounder, took about 5 minutes on photoshop - looks better too. The catfish I'm holding on my avatar musta weighed about 70lbs as well.
