J-Hawk, I just purchased a bunch of the YO-ZURI for 4.99 at sportsmen warehouse. Cabealas had them for 6.95 So I bought a few of them to try. They look great, I just wasn't going to pay 7.00 for them..Any colors you like?? I purchased the Clown/perch/red head/ silver and black colors...

Salmo takes the cake!

Bass - Salmo Butcher, Salmo Slider

Walleye - Salmo Hornet, Salmo Sting, Salmo Bullhead

Pike - Salmo Perch

I ran the firetiger Hornet almost exclusively for 'eyes last year and had phenomenal sucess!

For shallow (5-10 fow)Floating Raps in every size you can find or shad raps, best trolling lure out there! Husky Jerks for deeper water too!

Ill have to hit Gander Saturday if they are on sale, gonna stock up for the year, can't wait!

Steel, my favorite is the blue one. In cabelas magazine they call the pattern blue, but in the past it has been called "mackeral". 4.99! I better go get a couple!

Ya....what Matt said. Quality pays, and Salmo has the upper hand in the industry on crankbait quality, productivity, innovation, and performance.

A recent example of this is yesterday on the Red. We scored a few dozen very chubby walleye on the Salmo Hornets, Bullheads, and Perch. We also caught a mess of big pike on them.

All the biggest walleye came on Hornets in GT, CW, and PO colors. The Bullhead did well for me yesterday too, in hsolist & LPD. We had to switch to using jigs to catch some eaters Eh.

I am also a big fan of Bombers in Long A's and Swithwick Suspending Roughs, especially after dark in the shallows. A few of the new Gander Mtn Shad Rap colors are nifty too...like the Purple Shads and Pearl/Pinks...great colors for big Greenbacks up North in the fall.

The Salmo Teno is showing great promise and I am digging the way it runs true in faster waters. The SP, GP, GT, and SO are killer colors on rivers.

As the water warms I will be hot on other models to fit the situation, like the Zipper for one, but for now, these models and patterns are shining brightly for me.
