Will the upcoming cold snap turn off the fish bite?

Cold fronts can turn fish off, however, thats not to say that you cant catch fish during a cold front... You deffinatly can, it just may not be as fast and furious as when the baro is dropping and a front iis comming in~ Only one way to be sure.. go out there and fish it.. but be safe.. frostbite is not fun! or something to mess with! Dress appropriatly!

FWJ, also those cold stable high pressure days that stay consecutive for a few can turn a bite on as well. The lakers I fish seem to respond well. Last years Burntside Bash we had some nice fish numbers and it had been -20 for a couple of days.

My record for going fishing is -72 wind chill about 23 years ago. Can I beat my record????? We will see, I'll be fishing, don't care about the cold. I will have the heater on high in the fishtrap.

I figured this weekend was going to be too cold - so I played hookie from work today so I can get out on the ice and do some jiggin.

Can i even brag anymore about that -37 lake vermillion fishing now? -72! daaamnnnn. I could go colder... its just the hands that kill.. and tip ups fail.. just a bad situation
