klbowe
I just ordered a set of Snakors from Soderblooms. With all this ice and no snow to bank the Otter i think they will be just the ticket. Here is my question for those of you who have a set.Have you ever tried folding the skirt or apron of you portable house in and placing the tubes on the inside of the house ?It looks like they would seal the tent better around the sled this way and be less likely to freeze down. Tom Linderholm
On a serious note I just got off the ice and got a chance to use my snakors for the first time. The cats meow. As far as the other thought, may be worth a try.

klbowe
I have a Otter lodge. The 2 inch diameter snaktors are heavy enough. Two eight foot sections will be enough to totally wrap the out side edge of the stirt.I cut one of the tubes and made two 2 foot sections that I place next to the sled in both corners. There are four 2" tubes that are 8 foot long in a pack. G_man
Could someone please describe this product in more detail. One of the problems with my 3 year old fish trap 2-man guide shelter is when it is fully extended, it leaves a gap between the ice and the bottom of the canvas that air penetrates easily. I even went to the company and showed them this and complained.

Granny
G_man,I think the snakors are just what you need for the gap. They work pretty slick and at the end of the day you don't have to worry about your house being "snowed" in or frozen to the ice/snow. Talk to Jay and he will set you up. arbuck
G_man - It sounds to me like you need to adjust your tarp. You can adjust it in the back by how much of the tarp you tuck under the lip of the sled before you put that black rubber thing on to hold it. If you pull the tarp to tight (to much wraped under the lip on the sled) it will hold the bottom pole up off the ice.The Snaktors will still help to keep the wind out eaither way but you still may want to check your tarp adjustment.arbuck
