Chubby Darters

Anyone know of anywhere in the metro I can find some of these Chubby Darters? Gander Mountain Maple Wood didn't seem to have them in there Ice fishing area.

Fleet Farm also has them, but not all colors.

If there are any colors you can not find try Salmo USA on the net. There you can find all colors and models, encluding the new LOD (Glow Chubby).

Guess I'll have to try fleet farm. After the Ice Show I've lost faith in Thorne Brothers. Or On-Line. Thanks for the info.

Not sure where in ST Paul you are but if you get up towards White Bear I saw them just last night at a gas station at 61 and county J. Don't remember the name but its the one next to the liquor store. They are also at the Gander in Forest lake.

I have found that a Orange and Gold Chubby darter, with a chain dropper that has a blue glow stick on it - is deadly for eelpout on LOW after dark...

No wonder you didn't get a walleye on it you got to much other junk on it .

do u guys tip your chubby darters with a minnow head or such or due u just jig it alone?

I let the fish tell me what they want. If they wont take just the Chubby Darter plain I will tip it with a minnow head or even just rub some guts on it.

Just saw some at Gander Mtn in Minnetonka. Not a lot of color/size choices.

Minnetonka Outdoors has got a better selection including Luminescent Orange Dace (LOD) for 5.99. I grabbed a couple of the LODs but there were a few left.
