 Both Winkelman and the Linder brothers have always been a part of my fishing life 

 

I never had any other fishing books or videos  from anyone else but those two

Pretty much the same for me too.  MN icons.

I’ve met the Lindners a few times: Al, Ron, and Jim at shows of course but a few times out in public and fished a few of the same tournaments as competitors.  
 

I’ve only met Babe once. A day on the mine pits by Crosby.  We exchanged info we knew about the bass and pike bite and both learned from each other.  But he turned our bass tips to him into an episode.

Um, no...   

 

I didn’t even make the drone footage when I paddled out in my kayak to chat with Al and Mark when they were filming a show a couple years ago.

I defended Babe on here once. One of his shows was targeting the Smallies spawning in the bay just south of the Casino on Mille Lacs.

When the show came out, everybody on here was accusing him of targeting before the season opened because of the lack of leaves on the trees yet.

 

Seen them filming the day after Memorial Day as we drove back from the cabin, even at a couple hundred yards away, he was easy to recognize.

Was hoping to spy my truck in the episode.
