Gas tank hose in strikemaster magnum 3

I have the gas line hose leaking coming out of the gas tank. where do I get a new hose that is suppose to be the fix for my magnum funny a new hose can solve this Thanks for any reply I live in Winona

Just go to your local auto parts store and buy a foot of bulk hose in that size.

 

Those auger gas lines get brittle with age and either break or leak eventually.

I would go to a small engine repair shop. There are many different sizes they would be best to match it up.

The stihl dealer had some yellow hose that I used on mine it takes a little longer to get hard.

Another option is a motor cycle shop. That was were I found the small size in needed  for something.

  If you've taken the hose off you'll know that the way the seal is created.   The fuel line has to be the exact same as original.  Feed the new hose through the fuel outlet in the tank and out the fill hole. Insert the filter onto the hose.  Slowly pull the fuel line out till nipple on the filter seats itself.  StrikeMaster used to have that hose on their site. Otherwise you might get one at power sports dealer or auto parts store.

I buy the yellow hose at auto part stores but usually have to ask them for it as its usually sold off of bulk spools behind the counter.
